Gold opened as expected with a decline on Monday of the holiday week. I had given an advance prediction yesterday, and the market movement was completely consistent with expectations.
Today, the gold price rebounded from the 4536 level and then faced pressure to decline. It briefly broke below the 4400 level during the session, with lows probing down to 4320, a drop of 216 points.
