Thursday Early Morning, the World is Waiting for the Fed's "One Word"
3.19 Fed Meeting, the result was actually written on their face already——99.4% no rate cut, when the news drops there's likely no volatility.
The Fed's rate cut roadmap in their mind. The market thinks there's just 1-2 cuts this year, with the first one coming after September. If the dot plot is more hawkish, giving only 1 cut or even shouting a rate hike, assets will have to shake three times over.
Powell's mouth: three words can turn the market upside down, as long as he says "higher for longer," stop expecting rate cuts, just bear with it.
