My biggest fear isn't losing money, but rather ending the year by reviewing transaction records and questioning my life... Especially when there are multiple on-chain wallets, some of which are involved in moving between blockchain games, causing the economy to collapse with inflation + studios + coin price spirals, leading to an explosion in transaction counts. Afterwards, reconciling accounts feels like archaeology. Now I basically: every time I make a large transfer or exchange, I casually note down a remark (time, chain, counterparty, tx hash), and keep screenshots; I store exported wallet CSV files in folders sorted by address, not mixed together. Also, don’t sign transactions randomly; once signed, it’s harder to explain “what this is for,” and if the nonce gets stuck, you can check it, but if your brain gets stuck, there’s no saving it. Anyway, I first keep the evidence to avoid fighting with myself later.
