Why does the trading inquiry fail?

The inquiry trading of Gate Alpha mainly relies on third-party services such as Jupiter, 1inch, and Li.fi, with a small amount coming from Gate's self-developed Web3 services. Common reasons for inquiry failures are as follows:

  • Insufficient liquidity: The liquidity required for the exchange has been withdrawn, which is insufficient to support the current trade.
  • Network congestion/no quotes available: There are few available liquidity pools, and no routing supports the trade; or the inability to inquire due to rate-limited or speed-limited requests from third-party services.
  • This trade is not currently supported: An unknown error returned by the third-party service.

Why did my order fail?

Possible reasons for order failure:

  1. Rapid price fluctuations: The system detected that the minimum amount received during trade execution is lower than the amount displayed at the time of order placement, resulting in automatic order failure.
  2. Low gas: On-chain gas may increase due to higher trading volume, and if the gas paid during the transaction is too low, it may cause the order to fail due to insufficient gas;
  3. Exceeding slippage range: The current token price fluctuates significantly, and the set slippage is insufficient to cover the price fluctuations, resulting in failure due to low slippage;
  4. Insufficient liquidity: The liquidity of the on-chain token pool is insufficient, leading to order failure due to inability to execute;
  5. On-Chain Price Retrieval Failed: The system's multiple quotes yielded an actual received amount lower than the user's expected amount. To protect the user's interests, the order was automatically cancelled.

Why did I pay a higher network fee?

When an order is in processing status, it indicates that orders on other chains with higher network fees will be prioritized. Therefore, a higher network fee is required to process and confirm your order on-chain more preferentially.

Does Alpha trading have fees?

The platform charges a transaction fee of 0.8% for each order, and the actual deducted amount is subject to the order details.

Why is my transaction price not displayed on the K-line?

There may be two reasons:

  • When trading on Alpha, network fees and trading fees need to be paid, and the final transaction price is calculated based on the amount paid and the amount received after deducting network fees and trading fees. Therefore, there may be cases where the transaction price is not displayed on the K-line.
  • The transaction price on Gate Alpha comes from a third-party inquiry service, while the K-line price is derived from the analysis of on-chain data by Gate Web3. Although both price data are based on publicly available on-chain data, and Gate Alpha does not modify the data, there may be differences in the range of decentralized exchange (DEX) data analyzed by the two. If your transaction price comes from a DEX that Gate Web3 has not analyzed, there may be a mismatch in prices. In such cases, please always refer to your actual transaction price.

Why might there be inaccuracies in token risk detection?

The currency risk detection results of Gate Alpha come from well-known third-party services such as Goplus and Quickintel. Due to latency in detecting new coins or updating information, the final results may have limitations or inaccuracies. Therefore, these detection results are only for auxiliary judgment and do not constitute any investment advice or recommendations. On-chain transactions carry risks; please be sure to operate cautiously and do your own research (DYOR).

How does Alpha filter tokens?

Alpha Token is selected through Gate based on industry expertise and detailed analysis, focusing on projects that have strong community enthusiasm, growth momentum, and are aligned with the key trends shaping the encryption ecosystem.
