I think the biggest thing holding people back from AI right now isnt the technology. its that they havent spent enough time getting punched in the face by it
I recognized pretty early that you cant casually use these tools and expect to understand what they can do. so I went deep, hundreds of hours in Claude Code, Cowork, Codex, building real stuff for clients and for myself
I stopped trying to make the AI fit my old workflow and started building new workflows around what it was actually good at.
right now I can spin up full tools, wire up AI agents, ship things to production without a dev tea

every "AI build in public" guy you see on your timeline right now was doing dropshipping 3 years ago
before that it was crypto, then it was amazon FBA, forex signals etc
its the same people, they just rotate to whatever the new hype cycle is and repackage the same playbook
Usually its just a wrapper on top of an API that took them 20 minutes to set up with Claude
they dont actually understand the tools. they dont have real technical depth. but they know how to make content that sounds impressive to people who dont know any better

I run an agency and I have friends who feel the same, we see this every day
the ones that survive wont be the ones who try and use chatbots to speed up their work. it'll be the ones who rebuild their entire delivery model around it
traditional agency model: hire more people → charge more → pray the margins hold

I started using it pretty much the first week it came out, and I was impressed and went deep into the rabbit hole
its not the 24/7 AI agent that everyone is making it seem like, not even close
if you need to build a website or code something, just use Claude Code or Codex directly. if you need to generate images, go straight to Nano Banana or Higgsfield.
Using OpenClaw for these things is like taking a detour through 5 cities to get to the house next door

Hot take:
Most AI Agent teams you see in an office dashboard or "mission control" aren't really working on anything productive
They just look cool right now, but aren't actually making high level output yet
