Going to the vegetable market to buy groceries, I ran into an elderly man (probably from Northeast China) buying meat.
Basically, he wanted fresh meat, not frozen meat.
The shop owner’s wife said that all the meat in Singapore is imported, whether frozen or not, the nutrition is about the same.
The elderly man then said: "I'm here to buy meat, not to buy antiques…"
The shop owner’s wife probably didn’t understand, but I couldn’t help but laugh.
What kind of injury must one have suffered to say something like that? 😂
