Mantra CEO issues warning as OM conversion conflict with OKX escalates

MANTRA warns the community after OKX announced the OM migration schedule, which the project claims violates governance rules. On December 5, OKX announced it would end services and migrate before the end of December. MANTRA CEO JP Mullin asserted that this information is inaccurate and causes users to follow a schedule inconsistent with Governance Proposal 26.

According to MANTRA, OKX unilaterally set the migration period for December 22–25, 2025, while the governance proposal specifies that the migration should only begin after ERC-20 OM tokens are fully unsupported on January 15, 2026, and does not mention any date in December. MANTRA stated that OKX has not contacted the project since April and has independently announced multiple trading and deposit/withdrawal suspension dates.

MANTRA recommends users withdraw OM from OKX and wait to migrate through official channels to ensure compliance with the governance timeline. The project noted that all major exchanges have coordinated properly except for OKX and is committed to fully supporting users during the migration process.
