To further boost trading activity for TradFi perpetual contracts on Gate Perp DEX and provide users with a more engaging trading experience, Gate Perp DEX is launching the Battle of TradFi Markets — Oil vs. Metals Trading Challenge .
During the event, users can trade Oil or Metals perpetual contracts . Based on their trading volume, participants will automatically be assigned to a corresponding faction and compete for leaderboard rewards, sharing a 20,000 USDT prize pool .
Event Period: March 16, 2026, 12:00 (UTC) – March 23, 2026, 12:00 (UTC)
Eligible Trading Pairs
Oil Faction: Up to 50× leverage, capture volatility in the global energy markets
- XTIUSDT West Texas Intermediate (WTI) Crude Oil
- XBRUSDT Brent Crude Oil
Metals Faction: Up to 100× leverage, focusing on gold and silver market opportunities
Faction Assignment Rules
During the event, the system will track each user's cumulative perpetual contracts trading volume across the two factions. After the event ends, the faction with the higher trading volume share will become the user's final faction, and the user will participate in the leaderboard rewards of that faction. Each user can only receive rewards from one faction and cannot receive rewards from both.
Example:
Oil Trading Volume: 40,000 USDT. Metals Trading Volume: 25,000 USDT. The user will be assigned to the Oil faction.
1. Faction Trading Leaderboard (12,000 USDT Prize Pool)
During the event, each faction will have a trading volume leaderboard. Users whose cumulative trading volume for a designated trading pair reaches 10,000 USDT will be eligible to enter the final faction affiliation and participate in the corresponding ranking. Prize pool per faction: 6,000 USDT

2. Trading Volume Milestone Rewards (6,000 USDT Prize Pool)
During the event, users whose cumulative trading volume on the designated trading pairs reaches 10,000 USDT will receive a 10 USDT reward . Reward quota: First 500 eligible users , first come, first served.
If a user's cumulative trading volume reaches 10,000 USDT but they are not among the first 500 users, they will still be eligible for the shared reward pool . All qualified users ranked 501st and below will equally share the remaining 1,000 USDT reward pool . (If the number of participants is large, rewards per user will be distributed proportionally.)
3. Social Media Engagement Task
During the event, users can participate in the Gate DEX official campaign post interaction and share their TradFi perpetual contracts trading results.

- Share a screenshot of your trading profits
- Add a brief trading insight or comment
After the event ends, 10 users will be randomly selected, each receiving 10 USDT .
Event Rules:
- Participants must click the [Join Now] button on the event page to complete registration.
- Only the trading volume of the designated TradFi crude oil perpetual contracts on Gate Perp DEX will be counted for this event .
- To ensure fairness, the number of wallets linked to a single IP is strictly monitored. Any abnormal multiple-account activity will be considered a violation, and result in disqualification.
- All rewards will be distributed within 14 business days after the event ends.
- Net Perps Trading Volume = Open Position Volume + Close Position Volume.
- USDT rewards from all tasks can be accumulated.
- In the trading leaderboard competition, if no participants meet the minimum individual trading volume requirement, the corresponding rewards will not be distributed.
- Please note that the real-time rankings displayed on the trading leaderboard have not been filtered according to the minimum individual futures trading volume requirement. They do not represent the final results. Actual rewards will be issued based on the verified list of winners.
- Gate reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is deemed to be involved in fraudulent, manipulative, or deceptive conduct, including but not limited to wash trading, improperly matched orders, account batch registration, or any other dishonest behavior. Engaging in fraudulent actions, such as self-trading, wash trading, coordinated trading, market manipulation, or any other type of illegal trading, will result in disqualification from the event and forfeiture of eligibility for any rewards.
- If a user participates in multiple events during the same period, only one reward will be granted, based on the highest value. The platform reserves the final right of interpretation for the terms of this event.
- In the event of any discrepancy between translated versions and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
