It’s recommended that anyone who still has a bit of E on the mainnet should donate it. The official might not necessarily step in and airdrop, but with this kind of momentum, there’s a fairly high chance that third parties will stir things up. In the L2 era, this kind of move is pretty run-of-the-mill.
