SpaceX announces its partnership with Cursor and secures a $600 billion acquisition option

ME News Report, April 22 (UTC+8), according to Beating Monitoring, SpaceX announced a partnership with code editor company Cursor to jointly develop the next-generation coding and knowledge work AI. Specific terms: Cursor grants SpaceX an option to acquire the company later this year for $60 billion; if SpaceX does not exercise, then $10 billion will be paid as a cooperation fee. In the partnership, SpaceX provides the Colossus supercomputer, with its computing power equivalent to 1 million Nvidia H100s; Cursor provides coding AI products and distribution channels aimed at professional software engineers. Last week, xAI began leasing tens of thousands of chips to Cursor for training the latest models.
