Yesterday I came across a topic — it turns out you can now just take a photo of a problem and get a complete solution. I started testing different services, and here’s what I found out.

For pure math, Photomath is really top. You point the camera at an example, and in a second, you see not only the answer but also all the steps of the solution. It works better with printed problems than with messy handwriting. Mathway is similar, but has a simpler interface — suitable even for younger students. I liked Symbolab more for complex formulas and integrals — it really shows all the intermediate calculations.

If you need answers from photos not only for math, then MathGPT also covers physics and chemistry, and it’s free. Wolfram|Alpha is a whole different level if you’re ready for serious calculations and graphs. For versatility, BotHub or Gauth are better — they have neural networks for problems and other tools.

Honestly, at first I thought it was just cheating, but then I realized — if you use it to analyze solutions rather than copy them, it’s very helpful. Especially when you need to quickly find answers from photos before an exam and understand the logic. Has anyone else tried these services? Which one do you like more?
