It was only recently that I realized someone was discussing the main public chain upgrade / downtime maintenance. Everyone's guessing whether the ecosystem will move elsewhere... My first reaction was: Huh? Moving again? I really am a step behind; I didn't understand the technical details and just went to check if the NFT floor prices had changed. Turns out, many times the floor isn't about "value," but about whether people are still willing to keep telling the story. Royalties are also quite delicate; setting them high makes trading even colder, setting them low makes creators feel like they're being drained, and in the end, the community has to keep it alive themselves. To put it simply, liquidity is like a thermometer for emotions—when it's hot, everything is easy; when it's cold, even a simple "we're still here" feels expensive. Anyway, I tend to do less and just watch community chat logs as a diary.
