From Vitalik's speech at the Web3 Carnival, several promising directions for ETH's future—

Honestly, after watching Vitalik's speech this time, I was once again amazed.

It's not because he discussed some advanced technology, but because his positioning of Ethereum has truly never changed.

Look at how many people are shouting every day that "Ethereum is done," "It's too slow," or "Solana has overtaken it."

But Vitalik simply ignores these comments.

He said: I’m not here to compete with you on speed; I’m here to build the "world computer."

🎈🎈 What does this mean?

It means he wants Ethereum to become an underlying infrastructure that anyone can use, that will never collapse, and that doesn’t require trusting anyone.

Just think about how solid this positioning is.

No matter how the outside world speculates, his goal has never shifted.

What I admire even more is that he doesn’t just talk about it:
zkEVM is being developed, ENS is being built, account abstraction is also being promoted. Every step makes it easier for developers to get started and for ordinary people to use.

🎈🎈 So, after watching this, what do I think?

I believe that since Vitalik is so firmly committed to the "infrastructure" path, then the infrastructure projects on the ETH chain are very worth paying attention to.

For example:
- Layer 2 solutions: Arbitrum, Optimism
- Wallets related to account abstraction: smart contract wallets
- ZK-related infrastructure: such as real-world applications of zero-knowledge proofs

These things may not explode overnight, but they are the foundation for future applications to run on.

💰💰 Water sellers will always make money. Applications will change, narratives will shift, but there will always be a need for underlying infrastructure. #ETH
