Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 21 — Ripple announced the XRP Ledger (XRPL) post-quantum security four-phase roadmap, planning to complete a full transition to a quantum-resistant signature system by 2028 at the latest. The roadmap includes: Q-Day emergency migration mechanism, quantum risk assessment and NIST recommended algorithm testing in the first half of 2026, parallel integration of candidate post-quantum signature schemes on Devnet in the second half of 2026, and subsequent large-scale network switch via XRPL Amendment. Ripple stated that it has conducted validator testing, Devnet benchmarking, and custody wallet prototype development with Project Eleven. It emphasized that current assets are not immediately at risk but must address the “collect now, decrypt later” threat.
