Recently, the group has been talking again about testnet incentives and points, and they’ve even started guessing whether the mainnet will issue tokens… I hear that and it just gets a bit overwhelming. Put simply, don’t let those “data availability / ordering / finality” terms scare you—grab onto one main line: when you submit a transaction, ultimately who is in charge of the queueing, whether there’s a place where others can check the data, and how long the conclusion stays valid. When ordering isn’t transparent, it’s easier to front-run or cut the line. If the data isn’t there, you can’t even do a proper replay afterward. And if finality drags on too long, your mindset gets tugged back and forth.
Anyway, with my “I just want to obsess over security” kind of compulsion, I’d rather be slower and first revoke all authorizations and properly isolate the wallet—rather than, before the “issue tokens” question is even settled, end up losing myself first. If I hadn’t clicked that infinite authorization link by mistake back then… never mind. I won’t bring it up.
