On the news front, U.S. President Trump’s important speech said that once an agreement cannot be reached, the U.S. will carry out fierce strikes against all Iranian power plants. In addition, Trump also said the U.S. is conducting tight monitoring and control of these facilities via satellites. Once any abnormal activity is detected, the U.S. will immediately launch missiles to deliver a “destructive” blow. At the same time, Trump urged other countries to “grab oil” in the Strait of Hormuz.
Hualong Securities analysts believe that, against the backdrop of the Trump administration disrupting the traditional international order, the marginal weakening of credit for U.S. dollar assets, and rising global “de-dollarization” transactions, gold’s strategic value continues to stand out.
