Chow Sang Sang Partners with Local Startup to Debut at ComplexCon, Integrating Sustainability and Fashion
International trend culture event ComplexCon will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo on March 21 and 22. Chow Sang Sang Group is participating in this event for the second time. This year, in collaboration with local eco-friendly design brands reEDIT and unspun, they are upgrading and reimagining designs using 100% eco-friendly materials, integrating sustainability into creative experiences, and showcasing the diverse possibilities of the jewelry industry in environmental protection and design innovation.
Chow Sang Sang’s Chief Brand Officer, Chiu Ka-ying, stated that the jewelry industry is closely related to the topic of sustainability. Jewelry not only can be passed down through generations, connecting emotions across multiple generations, but many raw materials can also be revitalized through recycling. For example, gold can be melted down and reshaped into various forms; gemstones and diamonds can be re-set and redesigned to give them new life.
This exhibition booth, curated by reEDIT, is themed “The Perpetual Blossoms,” expressing “endless inheritance and the aesthetic of regeneration across time.” The central display features a floral symbol representing eternal bloom, showcasing a unique charm that combines splendor and eternity. The entire space is upgraded and reimagined with over 18,270 recycled plastic bottles, using modular, fully disassemblable, and reconfigurable design to ensure all materials can be reused and recycled after the event. This embodies the concept of “second life” in design, setting a new standard for environmental protection and fashion.
This time, Chow Sang Sang highlights its Charme gold bead jewelry, utilizing cyanide-free hard gold electroforming technology. This not only enhances the hardness of the gold beads but also reduces environmental impact compared to common cyanide-based methods, demonstrating the brand’s long-term commitment to balancing exquisite craftsmanship with sustainable principles.
