In response, Guo Jiakun stated that I want to emphasize that Latin American and Caribbean countries are sovereign and independent nations, with the right to choose their development paths and partners independently. China has always adhered to the principles of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit, openness and inclusiveness, and win-win cooperation, and has engaged in exchanges and cooperation with Latin American and Caribbean countries in various fields.
