An employee (not a board member) was detained by the ICAC. The company has immediately suspended all operational, executive duties, and powers of the involved employee. According to information obtained by reporters, the employee was taken from their home by the ICAC, possibly due to suspected insider trading or other illegal activities. Guotai Junan International stated in the announcement that the company’s overall business and operations, including investment banking, continue to operate normally; the company’s finances are stable, and all business activities are conducted in compliance, orderly, and steadily.
