Israeli Foreign Minister Sall on the 10th stated that Israel is not seeking an “endless war” with Iran and will coordinate with the United States at the appropriate time to decide when to end military operations against Iran.

Sall made the above statement during a joint press conference in Jerusalem with visiting German Foreign Minister Baerbock.

Sall did not provide a specific timeline for the current military operations. He emphasized that Israel will continue military actions until Israel and its partners believe it is “appropriate to stop.”

Sall claimed that Israel’s goal is to “eliminate the existential threat posed by Iran to Israel in the long term,” but this is difficult to achieve under the current Iranian regime. Israel believes that a change of regime in Iran “may occur after military operations end,” and the current military actions aim to create conditions for regime change.

On February 28, the United States and Israel launched a large-scale military strike against Iran, which responded with attacks on Israeli and U.S. military bases and other targets in the Middle East.
