New TI–NVIDIA project aims to make humanoid robots safer in crowds
Texas Instruments (NASDAQ: TXN) and NVIDIA are partnering to enhance the safe deployment of humanoid robots by integrating TI’s motor control, mmWave radar sensing, and power technologies with NVIDIA Jetson Thor and Holoscan. This collaboration focuses on enabling advanced 3D perception and safety awareness in challenging environments, allowing robots to transition from simulation to production-ready, safety-capable operation. TI will demonstrate their joint solution at NVIDIA GTC, scheduled for March 16–19, 2026.
