CoinWorld News reports that White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Tuesday said President Trump "does not rule out" various options in a potential war with Iran, including deploying U.S. troops to Iran. "As for the deployment of ground forces, the President has spoken about it multiple times. As Commander-in-Chief, he has wisely not ruled out any options. So, I reiterate that I am cautious about any current statements from any Democrat on Capitol Hill regarding the President's intentions," Jean-Pierre said. She appears to be referring to comments made earlier today by Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal on Capitol Hill. After hearing a briefing on Iran, Blumenthal stated, "It seems we are heading down a path of deploying U.S. ground forces to Iran to achieve any potential objectives."
