France issues Year of the Horse zodiac stamps

To celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, France Post held a ceremony in Paris on the 6th to issue Year of the Horse commemorative stamps. There are two designs of the Year of the Horse stamps, both created by Chinese-French artist Chen Jianghong. One stamp has a face value of €1.52 and features a white horse wearing a red Chinese knot-shaped bridle, looking back over its shoulder. The other stamp, with a face value of €2.25, depicts a white horse with its head held high and hooves raised. Both stamps display the words “Year of the Horse” in Chinese and French. (Xinhua)
