Codex Security originated from Aardvark, a security research agent that OpenAI tested last year with a small group of clients. The platform can analyze code repositories, perform stress testing on suspicious vulnerabilities in sandbox environments, generate proof-of-concept (PoC) attack code to confirm vulnerability impacts, and suggest remediation solutions. Starting today, OpenAI is releasing Codex Security to enterprise, commercial, and educational customers in a research preview version, allowing these clients to use the tool free of charge for the first month.
