China Southern Airlines' 10th domestically-produced C919 large aircraft joins the fleet

Recently, China Southern Airlines’ 10th domestically produced C919 aircraft officially entered service. As of March 1, 2026, China Southern’s C919 has operated 7,800 flights and carried over 1.06 million passengers. Currently, it is flying on nine regular commercial routes, including Guangzhou to Beijing Daxing, Xi’an, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Nanjing, Changsha, Wuhan, and Changsha to Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Pudong. Since its commercial operation began, the C919 has reached 17 cities with a flight punctuality rate of 96%. To date, China Southern has completed pilot training for 18 batches of C919 aircraft, training a total of 125 pilots. With the delivery of new aircraft, the number of flights and routes operated by the C919 will continue to expand.
