According to Caixin, on the morning of March 6, two victims exchanged approximately 10 million Hong Kong dollars at a currency exchange shop in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, and were then robbed at knifepoint inside the Sheung Wan MTR station. However, due to police pre-deployment, the suspects and stolen items were recovered, and the victims suffered no financial loss. It is reported that in the past three months, three large-scale cash robbery cases have occurred in the Sheung Wan area of Hong Kong. Previously, on December 18, 2025, and January 30, two similar cases involving virtual currency exchange shops and large amounts of cash were reported. The Hong Kong police stated that they will conduct an in-depth investigation to determine whether other members or criminal groups are behind these incidents, and whether there is any connection between this case and the previous robberies.
