CenterPoint Energy announces retirement of chief accounting officer, appoints successor

CenterPoint Energy announced that Chief Accounting Officer Kristie L. Colvin will retire on June 1, 2026, and will transition to an advisory role on March 2, 2026. Russell K. Wright has been appointed as the new Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, effective March 2, 2026. The utility company, valued at $28.07 billion, has shown strong financial performance with a 28.3% return over the past year and a 56-year history of dividend payments.
