Thirty startups have been named as finalists in the 2025 Latitude59 Kenya Pitch Competition, selected from 222 applications spanning 27 countries.

Latitude59 is the flagship tech and startup event of Estonia – the world’s first digital nation – and its 2025 edition in Tallinn, held in May, drew more than 3,500 participants, including over 900 startup representatives, nearly 700 investors, and 170 speakers from more than 70 countries.

For the third consecutive year, Latitude59 has organized an African pitch competition, and these 30 startups will now receive further pitch training. From this group, a top 10 will be selected to pitch live in the finals, which will take place in Nairobi from December 3-5, 2025.

“The quality of this year’s applicants was incredible – it’s clear that African founders are building for scale, not just survival. They’re solving meaningful problems with a bold, global mindset. We can not wait to see them light up the stage in Nairobi,” said Liisi Org, CEO of Latitude59.
