Ford Issues Major Recall for Over 400K SUVs Due to Steering Safety Concerns

Ford Motor Company has issued a major recall for over 412,000 Explorer SUVs in the U.S. due to a dangerous defect in the rear suspension’s toe links, which could lead to a complete loss of steering control. Additionally, Ford is recalling more than 40,000 other vehicles for separate battery and brake issues that increase collision risks. Federal safety authorities have mandated that Ford dealerships replace the faulty suspension parts for Explorer owners at no charge.
