War Update: 144 Clashes On Front Over Past Day, Intense Fighting In Pokrovsk, Huliaipole Sectors

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was stated in a report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook at 8:00 on Wednesday, March 4.

The enemy carried out one missile strike using one missile, as well as 74 air strikes, dropping 255 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces used 8,445 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,453 attacks, including 94 strikes with multiple launch rocket systems.

Russian forces conducted air strikes in the areas of Pysantsi and Vyshneve in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhniа Tersa, Huliaipilske, Kopani, Charivne, Dolynka, Liubytske, Samiilivka, Novoukrainka, Zelena Dibrova, and Hirkе in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Aircraft, missile troops, and artillery of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck five clusters enemy personnel, weapons, and military equipment.

In the ** Northern Slobozhanshchyna** and ** Kursk** sectors, the enemy carried out five strikes using 15 aerial bombs and launched 152 attacks, including five with multiple launch rocket systems.

In the ** Southern Slobozhanshchyna** sector, Russian troops twice attempted to break through Ukrainian defensive lines toward Zybyne and Kruhlе.

In the ** Kupiansk** sector, the enemy attacked five times toward Petropavlivka, Novoplatonivka, and Kurylivka.

In the ** Lyman** sector, Russian forces attacked 10 times, attempting to penetrate Ukrainian defenses toward Shyikivka, Stavky, Drobysheve, and Lyman.

In the ** Sloviansk** sector, Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 10 attempts by the Russian army to advance near Zakitne, Platonivka as well as toward Riznykivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the ** Kramatorsk** sector, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations.

In the ** Kostiantynivka** sector, the enemy carried out 17 near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, and Rusyn Yar, as well as toward Illinivka and Novopavlivka.

In the ** Pokrovsk** sector, Ukraine’s Defense Forces stopped 25 assault actions by the Russian army near Chervonyi Lyman, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske, as well as toward Kucheriv Yar, Novooleksandrivka, and Novopidhorodnie.

In the ** Oleksandrivka** sector, the enemy attacked 11 times toward Ternove, Vyshneve, Vorone, Verbove, and Zlahoda.

In the ** Huliaipole** sector, 25 Russian attacks were recorded near Huliaipole and toward Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Zelene, and Tsvitkove.

In the ** Orikhiv** sector, two combat engagements took place near Stepnohirsk and Prymorske.

In the ** Prydniprovske** sector, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations.

In the ** Volyn** and ** Polissia** sectors, no signs of Russian offensive group formations were detected.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to March 4, 2026, amount to approximately 1,269,500 personnel.
