On February 5th, Shenzhen held a site promotion meeting for urban renewal work. It is rumored that 104 key urban renewal projects were selected for priority advancement, ensuring the completion of 168 billion yuan in fixed asset investment in the urban renewal sector by early 2026.

Recently, this list of urban renewal projects has been widely circulated within the industry.

Nanshan District (including Qianhai) has 19 projects selected. Among them, 2 projects received planning approval, 9 projects have announced implementation entities, 7 projects have started construction, and 1 project has been completed.

Futian District has 10 projects selected. Among them, 1 project received planning approval, 3 projects have announced implementation entities, and 6 projects have started construction.

Bao’an District has 15 projects selected. Among them, 4 projects are planned for initiation, 2 projects received planning approval, 3 projects have announced implementation entities, and 6 projects have started construction.

Luohu District has 13 projects selected. Among them, 2 projects are planned for initiation, 2 projects received planning approval, 2 projects have announced implementation entities, and 7 projects have started construction.

Longhua District has 15 projects selected. Among them, 10 projects have announced implementation entities, and 5 projects have started construction.

Longgang District has 12 projects selected. Among them, 2 projects are planned for initiation, 4 projects received planning approval, 2 projects have announced implementation entities, and 4 projects have started construction.

Yantian District has 8 projects selected. Among them, 4 projects have announced implementation entities, and 4 projects have started construction.

Guangming District has 5 projects selected. Among them, 1 project is planned for initiation, 2 projects have announced implementation entities, and 2 projects have started construction.

Pingshan District has 5 projects selected. Among them, 1 project is planned for initiation, 1 project received planning approval, and 3 projects have started construction.

Dapeng New District has 2 projects selected. Both projects are in the construction phase.
