Amazon Web Outage Strands Customers
Amazon’s website and mobile app experienced malfunctions on March 5, with users reporting issues with product listings and checkout options. While Amazon Web Services had reported issues at data centers in the UAE and Bahrain earlier in the week due to drone strikes, an Amazon spokesperson confirmed that AWS was functioning normally during this particular outage, which affected North American retail services. The company acknowledged the problem and was working to resolve it.
