Have you experienced fluctuations in the big cycle?

It's quite realistic: young people entering society during an economic downturn and those starting during an uptrend have vastly different outcomes. A person in their twenties just out of college, if faced with a tough economic environment, can be completely reshaped in just ten years—this impact can even span an entire lifetime.

To put it simply, people are shaped by their environment. But that doesn't mean you have to passively accept it. You can actively seek a more suitable environment or try to change the current situation. Both options are there; it's up to you to choose.

As for those still debating whether to pursue graduate studies—really, I don't understand why you would waste time on that. Know yourself, then take action—that's the smartest way to live.

My generation is considered to have caught up, but I've also seen friends around me get knocked down during the 14-year wave, and they haven't recovered since. It's truly despairing.

Really, timing is everything. Poor luck can cost you ten years of life. Whether you're fortunate or not, it shows in the year you enter society... It's too late to regret now. Instead of pursuing graduate studies, it's better to focus on making money. Be serious. The environment can destroy or save a person; it depends on your choice. Being ten years behind peers, oh my, that's a bit scary.

Really, those who entered society during the bear market are now all regretting it. The environment can indeed change a person, but don't be too fatalistic. Regarding graduate school, I see through it as just a waste of time. Instead of fussing, it's better to focus on making money. People in a bull market truly have an advantage at the starting line, which isn't fair. But even in a bear market, you can practice your fundamentals. Let's see who can survive until the bull market. The phrase "recognize yourself" hits the mark; most people can't even do this.

Wow, really. The class I graduated with in 2008 was directly pushed into the financial crisis. Looking at my peers from the same period, we're truly in two different worlds. That's just luck, there's nothing you can do.
