MetaMask's recent new feature aims to attract users through a gem reward mechanism, but from an actual application perspective, this system has obvious issues. Many users have reported that these incentives are more about boosting the $MASK token ecosystem rather than truly addressing the core pain points of the wallet.

From a product standpoint, MetaMask's UI design indeed has room for improvement — the operation interface is not intuitive enough, and transaction speeds also lag behind mainstream wallets. Many users are gradually switching to alternative solutions with smoother experiences. This shows that offering token airdrops as a "sweetener" is not enough; the product's usability and performance are the key to retaining users.

Gem rewards are not convincing at all; the real issue is the poor product quality. --- Once again, airdrops to rescue the market are just tricks. The UI is so ugly that it can't retain users at all. --- $MASK team is overthinking it. Do they really think throwing coins can fix interaction lag? --- I'm gradually quitting and switching to other wallets. MetaMask really needs to reflect on itself. --- Well said. Token incentives can't hide product flaws; that's just self-deception. --- Bad UI, slow speed, and still trying to rely on gem to keep users. What were they thinking? --- I just want to ask, no matter how many coins you give, if the product experience is bad, it won't beat competitors. --- Free stuff isn't attractive anymore; the key is whether it's easy to use or not. --- I don't quite understand. Why is MetaMask still struggling over tokens? It's better to focus on solid fundamentals first.

The GEM reward is just a gimmick; the real issue is that MetaMask is getting increasingly laggy.

In plain terms, airdrops can't hide bad products with sweet coatings. I've seen too many projects try to use tokens to mask poor UI, but no matter how ample the supply lines are on the battlefield, they can't save the position. MetaMask's recent move is a typical case of drinking poison to quench thirst. How long can the $MASK ecosystem last? Looking at historical cycles, it's clear.

Gem rewards? Basically, it's just about using the coin price to attract people, which can't solve the issue of interaction lag at all.
