The 200 applications in the Pi ecosystem sound impressive, but the real question is how many can actually survive? Honestly, compared to the number of ecosystems, I care more about daily active users—that's the real metric. In the early days, BBB's rise relied on trading volume and transaction fees. Can Pi replicate that logic? I'm skeptical. Projects that cut leeks are indeed bad, but piling up ecosystem applications isn't necessarily a moat. There are 200 ecological applications, which sounds like a lot, but the key is the level of activity. Otherwise, it's just a pile of zombie applications. In this regard, it's still far behind BNB.

200 DApps? Sounds good, but how many are actually usable? The digital ecosystem looks great, but actual traffic is the real issue. Pure community projects are indeed trash, but are all 200 Pi applications really alive? Once the infrastructure is in place, it’s truly resilient. $BNB is a good example. Only projects that survive two bear markets are truly genuine projects.
