When choosing a hardware wallet, there's a practical tip worth noting: some common brands of cold wallets are easily recognizable by their appearance, making it obvious at a glance what they are used for. If security and discretion are priorities, consider opting for designs that are more understated in appearance. After all, the first step to asset security is preventing others from easily identifying that you hold cryptocurrencies.

Wow, I really didn't expect this point. I need to quickly change that wallet that I could tell at a glance what it was. Being low-key is the way to go; this logic makes sense. No, I need to research and find some less conspicuous options. This is true security awareness.

Wow, this reminder is brilliant. I used to just leave my Ledger on the desk, and now that I think about it, it was really a bit silly. Invisible protection is true protection.

Wow, really. How did I not think of this before? That blue Ledger is really too eye-catching; I feel like I could be recognized just by taking it out in a coffee shop.

Haha, I've noticed that for a long time. That blue Ledger is really too eye-catching. Taking it out in public is like telling the whole world that I'm into crypto.

ngl the whole "don't let them spot your ledger" angle is lowkey the most underrated opsec move... most people are out here flexing their hardware like some kinda status symbol lmao

Alright, I agree with that. Some wallet designs are indeed too obvious; you can tell at a glance that you're into crypto. That being said, true security is about being low-key. Don't make it look like you're advertising to the whole world. Choose a less conspicuous one, and you'll sleep better.
