Polygon is testing an idea: can stablecoins outperform traditional banks in terms of capital flow efficiency?

The current payment systems are too cumbersome. Cross-border transfers are slow, costly, and involve many intermediaries. Stablecoins are taking a different approach—on-chain settlement, seconds-level confirmation, accessible worldwide.

That’s why Polygon is heavily betting on this track. $POL is not only an ecosystem token but also the fuel for the entire payment infrastructure. Every stablecoin transaction runs on Polygon’s efficient network.

The traditional banking system is indeed too outdated, but claiming that stablecoins can achieve instant global transfers... In reality, they still get stuck during network congestion. Don't be too optimistic.
