Is the regulatory authority of the prediction market vested in the CFTC? Here's what the CEO of a leading exchange said.

The CEO of a leading exchange recently expressed his views on the regulation of prediction markets on social media. He pointed out that prediction markets should be included within the regulatory framework of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. His position is clear: if certain states claim that prediction markets do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Commission, they are essentially blocking U.S. users from accessing tools that can help them gain advantages and improve their economic situation. This statement reflects the exchange's emphasis on the importance of regulatory clarity—clear regulatory boundaries are critical for the entire industry and its users.

This guy just wants the regulations to be clearer, which is quite reasonable. Since it's all going to be regulated anyway, it makes sense to unify the rules.

Here comes the same old rhetoric again... I understand, you just want to shake off the state regulations. --- Can a one-size-fits-all approach by the CFTC really solve the problem? I think not. --- Establishing clear rules sooner is better than anything else; playing in the dark like this makes it hard for everyone. --- State laws and federal laws are in conflict, and users suffer the most, but let's not pretend to be too noble. --- Compliance is inevitable, the question is how to achieve true compliance. --- Just listen, what exchanges say should always be questioned. --- Let me see which department will end up regulating this...

It's the same old story again; if state governments were really this obedient, we wouldn't have this mess today. --- Clear regulations are actually better for Large Investors, while retail investors still get played. --- Wait, why is this guy back to ride the wave? Can the CFTC really handle the prediction market? I doubt it. --- Sounds good, but ultimately it's just about centralizing power. --- No one managing the prediction market is what freedom is about; once it's put into a framework, can we still play, frens? --- In reality, state governments are the ones truly protecting retail investors; don't be fooled by this rhetoric. --- Ha, in the end, it's still the big exchanges that call the shots, with small platforms getting pushed out. --- To be honest, regulatory clarity is good for everyone, but the premise is not to let a few pros monopolize the discourse. --- CFTC? Forget it, just another power broker.

Again playing the regulatory card, sounds nice, but in essence, it just wants a Compliance disguise. --- CFTC managing prediction markets? Ha, here comes another round of power struggle. --- This CEO knows how to tell a story, making monopoly sound like a charity. --- Regulatory clarification? I see it as wanting to trap all retail investors for easy Be Played for Suckers. --- It's clear, whoever is in power calls the shots, the prediction market is the next cake to be split. --- Is it better managed by the CFTC or by the states? Honestly, it's not transparent enough. --- Blacklisting, freezing accounts, Be Played for Suckers... with these three steps, the regulatory framework would be perfect. --- Laughing to death, clearly defining regulatory boundaries = clearly defining the harvesting process, this logic makes sense.
