Bloomberg's Eric Balchunas states that BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF is $IBIT the only ETF on the 2025 cash flow ranking with negative returns this year, yet it still ranks sixth in total inflows. Many people only look at the negative performance, but what matters more is that investors continue to buy and hold rather than sell.

This indicates very strong long-term confidence, especially from traditional investors. Notably, $IBIT it has attracted more money than the $GLD gold ETF, even though gold has increased by 64%. This is a very positive signal for the long term. If in a bad year the ETF still attracts around $25 billion, then in a good year, the potential cash flow could be even much larger.
