Director Carl Rinsch of "The Ronin 47" was convicted in an American court on seven charges including telecom fraud and money laundering for misappropriating $11 million in production funds paid by Netflix. He faces a maximum of 90 years in prison. Prosecutors alleged that he short-term stock trading led to losses, after which he shifted funds into cryptocurrency speculation, and lavishly purchased Ferraris, Rolls-Royces, and luxury goods. Netflix ultimately canceled the series "Conquest" and lost $55 million. Rinsch previously earned $27 million from a $4 million investment in Dogecoin but later squandered the funds extravagantly.
