Ever heard of the trader who called the 1987 crash before it happened?

Paul Tudor Jones didn't just survive Black Monday — he crushed it. While markets were bleeding out, he walked away with $100 million. Yeah, you read that right.

So what made this guy different?

It wasn't luck. The man studied market psychology, spotted the warning signs everyone else ignored, and positioned himself perfectly. When October 19th hit and the Dow dropped 22% in a single day, he was already on the other side of the trade.

This is the kind of conviction that separates retail panic from institutional precision. Jones proved that reading market sentiment and acting early beats reacting late every single time.

Earned 100 million USD in just one day? I just want to know how he figured that out...

To be honest, our generation missed the 1987 market boom, but is PTJ's method still effective now? It feels like information flows so fast now that there's basically no chance to hide or keep things under wraps.

ptj Nabo is indeed brilliant, but to be honest, most people can't learn it... Market psychology isn't that simple.

PTJ's move was really clever, but to be honest, relying on reading psychology to predict the market? I'm still a bit skeptical... However, making 100 million is indeed impressive.

PTJ's moves are really impressive, but honestly, most people still can't learn them... Psychological resilience really is something you're born with, isn't it?

Honestly, reading articles like this just makes me want to laugh. It’s as if understanding market psychology can help you make big money, but in reality, most people are losing.

ngl this is just survivorship bias wrapped in a legend narrative... yeah ptj crushed it in '87 but conveniently nobody talks about the traders who had the *same* conviction and got liquidated instead lmao. market psychology is real but acting early on a hunch that *happens* to work out isn't a replicable edge, it's just variance with a good ending

NGL, that's why I'm still studying historical charts... PTJ's move was really top-notch; reading the psychology behind it is no brag.
