ZetaChain Patches Messaging Flaw After $333,868 Cross-Chain Exploit
ZetaChain said an exploit in its cross-chain messaging pipeline caused $333,868 in losses and hit its GatewayEVM contract. ZetaChain said no user funds were lost, and only three internal team wallets were affected across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and BSC. ZetaChain said it deployed a mainnet patch, but cross-chain transactions remain paused until upgrades and additional reviews are completed.
