ME News report, April 14 (UTC+8), local time Monday, the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office said that Daniel Moreno-Gama, the suspect who attacked OpenAI founder Sam Altman last week, has been charged with attempted murder. A release from the U.S. Department of Justice also shows that the suspect faces federal charges, including an alleged attempt to destroy property using explosives and unlawful possession of an unregistered firearm. According to the indictment submitted to the U.S. District Court in San Francisco on Monday, Daniel Moreno-Gama was arrested after the Friday attack, and San Francisco police officers searched him and found a document detailing his intentions.
