MARA Launches Foundation for Bitcoin Resilience and Long-Term Adoption

MARA CEO Peter Thiel announced the non-profit MARA Foundation on Monday to support Bitcoin’s long-term health, resilience, and adoption. The foundation said it will back free and open-source Bitcoin development, including quantum-resistant tools such as PQ wallets and BIP 360. The group also plans to focus on Bitcoin’s security budget, fee-market development, and global education on self-custody.
