MARA Launches Bitcoin Foundation, Opens $100K Community Grant Vote

MARA launched the MARA Foundation at the Bitcoin 2026 conference and opened a $100,000 community grant vote. MARA said the foundation will back Bitcoin network security, open-source software, self-custody access, public policy, and education. The grant vote covers SateNet, the 256 Foundation, and Libreria de Satoshi, and voting is open through April 29 at 3:00 PM PST.
