Pfizer Inc. director James C. Smith was granted 7,686.539 Phantom Stock Units as deferred compensation, valued at $26.67 per unit. These units, which track Pfizer’s common stock, are part of the company’s Nonfunded Deferred Compensation and Unit Award Plan for Non-Employee Directors. After this transaction, Smith holds a total of 178,111.302 Phantom Stock Units, to be settled in cash or stock upon his retirement from the board.
