Recently, the kickoff meeting for WH Group’s three-pillar HR transformation and job level system construction project was held at its headquarters in Luohe, marking a new starting point for upgrading human resources management in a systematic way.

At the meeting, Wan Hongwei, Chairman of WH Group Development, explained the strategic significance and core expectations of this transformation. He said that today, facing new challenges such as business diversification and organizational scaling, the essence of corporate development ultimately lies in unlocking talent potential. This must be achieved through systematic upgrades so that every employee can find their place in the company, see a clear direction, and realize their value.

Wan Hongwei said that we must ensure that “development” has a direction, that “fairness” becomes the organization’s defining tone, and establish a transparent and scientific job level system. Promotions should be based on capability, performance, and contributions, so that those who strive receive the rewards they deserve; we must ensure that “empowerment” has a handle, so that the three pillars become a “driving force” for business development—pushing HR from the “back office” to the “front office.” We will build three major modules: COE, SSC, and HRBP, truly integrate with the business, and serve the business; we must ensure that the “organization” is warmer, so that WH Group becomes a platform that everyone can jointly achieve. The job level system and the three pillars will complement each other. Employees will have growth and rewards, and the organization will have cohesion and fighting strength.

Zhang Liwen, Vice President of Human Resources at WH Group Development, served as the project director and systematically introduced the important significance of this HR management upgrade. He said that the two major projects—HR’s three-pillar transformation and job level system construction—are key talent initiatives for WH Group’s future development. The three-pillar project aims to transform the HR team from a “transactional” model to a “value-driven” model, creating an HR service approach that understands the business better and is closer to employees; the job level system project is committed to laying out a clear, fair, and diverse career development pathway for employees, so that every WH Group person can clearly understand the direction of growth and see room for development.

According to the introduction, to ensure the project is implemented with high quality, WH Group has chosen to work with Aon Consulting. At the meeting, the core teams from both sides officially unveiled themselves. In the future, they will establish a joint working mechanism for efficient collaboration and close coordination to ensure the project advances in an orderly manner.

The convening of this kickoff meeting marks that WH Group’s HR management upgrade initiative has officially entered the implementation stage. The project team will follow the advancement path of “diagnostic analysis, solution design, pilot validation, and full-scale promotion,” and deploy the work in phases and steps in an orderly manner. In the future, WH Group will gradually build a more fair, transparent, and vibrant talent development environment, laying a solid foundation of talent to achieve the strategic goal of “a globally leading, century-old WH Group.”
