⚠️ Hack as common as rice: Wasabi DEX platform just got attacked, with damages over 5 million USD

Wasabi Protocol, a perpetual DeFi platform on #DEX, vừa bị tấn công với thiệt hại hơn 5 triệu USD trên nhiều blockchain như #Ethereum, #Base, #Berachain, and #Blast. The main cause is identified as hackers gaining control of the system's admin key, giving them full authority to upgrade smart contracts and withdraw assets from vaults. After infiltration, the attacker deployed malicious changes, manipulated contracts, and quickly transferred assets out in a short period.
Assets stolen include various tokens such as $WETH, $USDC , and meme coins. Notably, #Wasabi's system relies on a single admin key, with no protections like multisig or timelock, creating a highly dangerous "single point of failure." When this key is compromised, the entire protocol is almost completely out of control.
After the incident, the project team warned users to stop interacting with contracts to avoid further risks and recommended revoking wallet permissions immediately.
