#Research firm Caladan reported that the #Web3 gaming sector is experiencing a significant contraction, with approximately 93% of projects deemed "dead." Related tokens have declined by an average of about 95% from their 2022 peaks, and studio funding has decreased by roughly 93% from the cycle high. Capital allocation has sharply reversed, with gaming's share of #Web3 VC funding dropping from 62.5% in 2022 to single digits by 2025, while quarterly funding plummeted from around $1.6 billion to about $18 million. #gamefi
