The price of EOS is still struggling after rebranding and entering the Web3 banking sector.
The price of EOS has seen a fall of nearly 6% this week. This correction coincides with the drop of Bitcoin (BTC) from the local resistance level of $116.1k.
In March 2025, EOS was restructured and renamed Vaulta (A). This token was delisted on several exchanges, while other centralized exchanges conducted a token swap at a 1:1 ratio in May, after the main swap gate was officially activated.
Team Vaulta confirms that there will be no changes to the tokenomics of A.
EOS has changed its name but the price trajectory has not changed
Although it has been repositioned and rebranded, the EOS network token still cannot reverse the long-term falling trend. The Moving Averages on the daily chart continue to reflect a steady bearish momentum of A even after the name change.
The Fibonacci extension levels indicate that if the support threshold of $0.258 is lost, the next price targets for EOS ( will be $0.219 and $0.155.

The long/short ratio has remained below 1 for ten consecutive days, reflecting the dominance of short positions over long ones. Although the Funding Rate remains positive, it has slightly decreased in recent hours.
The increase in short positions does not lead to a decrease in the Funding Rate, as the calculation of the Funding Rate depends on the price difference between perpetual contracts and spot prices. The increase in the spot CVD indicator over the past 24 hours brings a glimmer of hope for Vaulta.
However, this glimmer of hope may soon fade. The price level of $0.3 is currently a strong resistance. Notably, during yesterday's drop from $0.29 to $0.2745, the open interest )OI( increased.
This indicates a significant increase in short activity, which helps explain the decline in the Funding Rate.
